Sensory Overload

My psychedelic art-o-mat collage series which I'm enjoying and may just continue this theme for a bit. That reminds me I need to hit the Psychedelic Experience Poster show at the Denver Art Museum before it closes July 26th.

Best Part About Being a Designer

Variety. I'm fortunate that I'm able to work on so many different projects. This was one of them. I had the opportunity to design a sign for USFWS to be hung at the Colorado Rapids Soccer Stadium located in Commerce City, CO. It sits in the southeast corner of the stadium where soon you'll look out onto the Refuge to see the buffalo roaming.

Campsite Cows

Camping in the Gunnison National Forest just outside Crested Butte, CO. Our campsite brought us some interesting company. A bike tour of 300 hundred or so cyclists in the early morning. and a herd of grazing cows in the evening.

Make Art

My hubby read recently that art gallery & museum visits are down but the flipside is that more people are actually making art. It's good for the soul.

One day I'll take a day off of work and head downstairs to my basement studio to just draw. It's been way too long.
